My Chiropractic Story
Growing up in a chiropractic family, I have been under regular chiropractic care for as long as I can remember. Having experienced the benefits myself and watching family members, friends and patients of all ages improve through chiropractic care, it was only natural that I developed a passion for the profession and chose to pursue it as a career.
Sport has always been a huge part of my life. I’ve played soccer for many years, including time with Cumberland United, before going on to compete at a representative level in the Northern Territory. Throughout years of training, competition and the inevitable knocks and injuries that come with playing sport, chiropractic care helped me perform at my best and reinforced my appreciation for the body’s ability to heal when functioning optimally.
I completed my Diploma of Health Science at Charles Darwin University and my Bachelor of Chiropractic at the Australian Chiropractic College. During my studies I developed a strong passion for the Gonstead System of Chiropractic because of its thorough, analytical and specific approach to patient care. To continue developing my skills, I have attended nine Gonstead seminars, learning from experienced Gonstead Diplomates around Australia and refining my hands-on adjusting technique.
I am passionate about providing thorough, individualised chiropractic care for people of all ages. Every patient presents differently, and I believe each person deserves a careful assessment and a specific approach tailored to their needs. It is incredibly rewarding to help people move better, feel better and return to doing what they love. I look forward to building lasting relationships with my patients and helping them to live active, healthy lives through chiropractic care.
My own interests include snowboarding, waterskiing, camping, heading out for a fishing trip and playing the piano. I also enjoy a competitive game of soccer and spending quality time with family and friends while playing a board game. Travelling has always been a big part of my life, and I’ve been fortunate enough to experience places like China and Japan. Every trip has given me a greater appreciation for different cultures, people, and ways of life, and there’s always another destination on my list.
